Congratulations to Daniel Munoz on his appointment as Acmena’s new Head of Discipline (HoD) for Systems Engineering.
Taking over from inaugural systems engineering HoD, Nicolas Teulier, Daniel joined the company in 2018 where he supported the Queensland Rail New Generation Rollingstock project.
He is currently the Systems Engineering Manager for the Cross River Rail Tunnels, Stations and Development package where he is responsible for the planning and delivery of the systems engineering program across the entire work package.
A proven technical leader with 15 years’ experience in the rail industry, both across Europe and Australia, Daniel’s breadth of experience and depth of knowledge made him an ideal candidate for Head of Discipline.
His expertise and passion for the application of advanced methodologies, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital requirements management solutions will play an instrumental part in keeping Acmena’s systems engineering services at the forefront of the discipline.
“With his passion for delivering greater value to projects through the use of digital technologies and AI, in addition to his experience in building efficient and robust processes and systems, Daniel ticks all the boxes as Head of Discipline,” said Acmena General Manager, Mike Bruce.
“I am really looking forward to working with Dan and seeing what he can bring to the role. I’d also like to thank Nico for all the hard work he poured into defining and developing the role over the last few years. Dan certainly has big shoes to fill!”
