Frances Xiao has joined Acmena as its newest systems engineering consultant.
Specialising in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Frances was previously involved with several Transport for New South Wales rail infrastructure projects, including various Sydney Metro packages and also the Victorian Level Crossing Removal Program.
With experience in supporting and coordinating the development of project deliverables, and a background in civil engineering, Frances offers a pragmatic understanding of the processes and complexities involved with developing major rail infrastructure projects, including working with multi-discipline teams across different systems and interfaces.
“I’m excited to have Frances on board,” said Acmena Business Development Manager and NSW State Manager, Nicolas Teulier. “With her appetite for new technologies and innovation, she’s bringing a new energy to the team.
“I’m convinced that she will drive significant improvement in the way we work and deliver complex projects. I really enjoy working with young, motivated people ready to change things for the best!”
Excited to join Acmena’s multi-discipline team, Frances said: “I was drawn to Acmena’s innovative approach to systems engineering management and commitment to fostering an innovative work environment.
“As a passionate and driven individual, I am eager to contribute my skills in data science and MBSE and experiences in rail design towards helping to deliver our clients’ projects, while also advancing my own professional growth.”
