Silpa Puligundla has joined Acmena as its newest systems and safety assurance specialist.
Working out of Acmena’s Melbourne offices, Silpa is a Senior Consultant with over eight years’ experience in the rail industry.
A versatile and highly capable safety engineer, Silpa has demonstrated experience in leading and developing assurance and RAMS programs to support the development of complex signalling and technology projects, including rail navigation systems and Computer Based Train Control (CBTC) installations on several major rail networks such as Lusail to Doha, Mumbai, Doha Metro and Ahmedabad lines.
Experienced in developing safety critical systems to international standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129), Sipla offers considerable expertise in the development of key assurance and RAMS deliverables, including project safety plans, safety cases, hazard log and RAMS plan in addition to various analyses – hazard analysis, fault tree analysis (FTA), failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMECA) and failure reporting analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS).
