Working out of the Sydney office, David offers a wealth of experience in the rail, medical technology and defence sectors where he has previously supported the development of several major projects, including Cross River Rail (Brisbane), Digital Systems Project (Sydney) and New Generation Rail Project (Queensland).
Specialising in human factors integration, user-centred design, usability testing and human-machine interfaces, David has experience in supporting the development and integration of key rail systems and infrastructure, including European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2, automatic train protection (ATP), train management systems, control rooms and in-cab control systems.
Attracted by the prospect of working with Acmena’s multi-discipline team, David said: “I am excited to be part of Acmena’s integrated approach. Joining the team presents a fantastic opportunity to broaden my experience and collaborate more closely with experts in system engineering, safety assurance, and requirements management.
“I believe that immersing myself in a team that specialises in these disciplines will sharpen my skills and make me a better human factors consultant.”
“I am really pleased to welcome David on board,” said Acmena NSW State Manager, Nicolas Teulier.
“His passion for human factors and his skills in usability testing and ergonomics perfectly complement the abilities within the NSW team and will reinforce our capability to deliver an integrated SESA/HF approach.”
