Acmena has been awarded AEO (Authorised Engineering Organisation) status by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW).
Having successfully completed the rigorous four-stage screening process, Acmena has become one of just 160 AEO-accredited companies and can now independently bid for work through the TfNSW procurement process.
The AEO Framework was established by TfNSW to ensure that outsourced engineering services are delivered by capable and competent organisations. Acmena is now authorised to provide a range of engineering services:
- Systems engineering (AS1)
- Systems assurance, including safety engineering and assurance (AS2)
- Requirements management (AS5)
- Interface management (AS6)
- Human factors integration (AS7)
- Verification and validation (AS8)
- RAM management (AS9)
After attaining ISO 9001 accreditation in 2019, Acmena is very proud to announce another significant milestone in the company’s journey.
“This is a great opportunity for Acmena to apply the processes we have developed over the past eight years on Transport for New South Wales projects,” said Acmena Director and Principal Consultant, Sue Milner.
“This achievement will also provide our partners with justified confidence in our capabilities. We would like to thank everyone involved in the application process and especially Nicolas Teulier, Katherine Eastaughffe, Aimee Sisley and Dan Simmons who took our assessors though the Acmena BMS in their respective disciplines and played such an instrumental part in securing a successful outcome for the company.”
