Acmena has been awarded AEO (Authorised Engineering Organisation) status for the provision of Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) services by Transport for New South Wales.
Having previously received AEO status for various systems engineering, human factors and assurance services in December 2020, Acmena was delighted to attain ISA accreditation.
We would like to thank Steve Dawkins, Andy Gabler and Katherine Eastaughffe for all their hard work in supporting Acmena’s application for accreditation and achieving yet another important milestone for the company.
The AEO Framework was established by TfNSW to ensure that outsourced engineering services are delivered by capable and competent organisations. Acmena is one of approximately 160 AEO-accredited companies and is now authorised to provide a range of services, including:
- Systems engineering (AS1)
- Systems assurance, including safety engineering and assurance (AS2)
- Requirements management (AS5)
- Interface management (AS6)
- Human factors integration (AS7)
- Verification and validation (AS8)
- RAM management (AS9)
- Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) (AS10)
“This is a great achievement and one that will give our clients confidence in our capabilities, both in NSW and throughout Australia,” said Andrew Gabler, Acmena Principal Assurance Consultant and Head of Discipline. “It is great to see the hard work we have put into developing processes be acknowledged by the ASA. I would like to thank everyone involved, especially Steve Dawkins, for his tireless work pulling together the submission.”
