This week, Acmena gathered for its second biannual company event of 2019. All three state teams enjoyed a productive few days in the tranquil setting of Cleveland Winery, Victoria, where they shared insights and experiences from the projects they’ve been working on this year.

With the team kept busy across a variety of projects, including Cross River Rail, Metro Tunnel Melbourne and Digital Systems, the two-day event also provided a welcome opportunity to engage in some fun team-building activities, with Time Out Adventures hosting an escape room challenge and MCI Solutions giving staff an opportunity to explore their creative side through a Lego Serious Play workshop, with some, well… interesting results.

Of course, there’d be no point in hosting an event at a winery if there wasn’t some wine tasting involved. Gathering in the only underground cellar in the region, the team enjoyed the opportunity to sample Cleveland’s range of wines, with a few bottles making their way into team members’ suitcases for the journey home!
