Congratulations to systems and safety assurance specialist, Campbell Sims, on his promotion to Principal Consultant.

Joining Acmena’s Brisbane office in 2020 after making the move from sunny Scotland, Campbell has been an integral part of the Cross River Rail Tunnels, Stations and Development (TSD) team, where he has provided systems and safety assurance support.

Currently engaged at Queensland Rail, Campbell is playing a lead role in developing the operator’s approach to the safety assurance of signalling projects and has even found the time to complete a master’s degree in safety and risk management in the process.

“It is clear to anyone that works with Campbell that he is passionate about his discipline and in supporting others,” said Qld State Manager, Mike Bruce. “I am looking forward to seeing Campbell continue to grow as a Principal Consultant and share his passion throughout Acmena and the wider systems assurance community.”
