Acmena is delighted to announce the appointment of Debashish Dash to its Melbourne offices.
Debashish is a systems and safety assurance specialist with 18 years’ experience in the transportation (rail, road and aviation), oil and gas, mining and renewables sectors.
A highly capable engineer, Debashish has experience in developing and leading safety programs across a wide range of rail projects, including signalling, light rail, level crossing removal, infrastructure and the High-Capacity Metro Train project in Melbourne.
Debashish has extensive experience in the development and management of key safety assurance deliverables, including project hazard logs, safety cases, risk register and RAM plans.
Additionally, he also has demonstrated capability in workshop facilitation (HAZID/HAZOP) along with the development of safety arguments demonstrating risks are managed So Far As Is Reasonably Practicable (SFAIRP), Safety Integrity Level (SIL) determination and Safety in Design (SID).
Proficient in IBM Requirements Management DOORS, Debashish offers capability in the identification, documentation and management of safety requirements and associated assurance management activities.
