Heading to Connect Rail in Melbourne? If so, don’t forget to look us up and say hi.
Acmena Systems Engineering Consultant, Matthew Manger, will be attending the event held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre between 5-6 September.
With over 80 local and international speakers set to deliver presentations on a range of topics from the national rail manufacturing plan to Artificial Intelligence and IoT applications, the combined Connect Rail and Rail Decarbonisation Conference promises to be a feature-packed event.
“I am really looking forward to attending what will be my first Australian rail conference,” said Matthew. “The event provides industry leaders and professionals to unite and explore the future of rail and, in particular, how it will evolve in Australia.
“There are some really interesting talks scheduled across the two days. In particular, I am looking forward to attending the sustainable technology solutions and interconnected ecosystems papers.
“There are also a few interesting case studies scheduled that explore cybersecurity, technology adoption and the big projects occurring across Australia include the Suburban Rail Loop in Victoria and Cross River Rail in Brisbane.
“Connect Rail also presents a fantastic networking opportunity, so I am especially looking forward to catching up with colleagues and making new connections.”
