Praveen Kumar joins Acmena as its newest senior systems engineering consultant.

Specialising in requirements management, change/configuration management and verification and validation, Praveen offers proven experience in supporting the development of major projects throughout the full lifecycle having been involved with several high-profile rail infrastructure projects, including Etihad Rail, Doha Metro and Chennai Metro.

A pragmatic engineer with experience in testing and commissioning, Praveen also offers expertise in the development of various rail systems, sub-systems and infrastructure, including rolling stock, platform screen doors, signalling, civil engineering works and SCADA.

Delighted to welcome another highly capable systems engineer to the Melbourne office, Acmena Victoria State Manager, Ian Banks, said: “With a confidence that comes from having experience working under enormous levels of time pressure on critical infrastructure and rolling stock systems and from building requirements management systems from the ground up, Praveen can be presented with system engineering or configuration management challenges and develop and implement a strategy that exceeds expectations.
