Acmena would like to congratulate Network Rail Consulting and our fellow partners The Go-Ahead Group and Ineco, on being awarded a 12-month contract extension as System Integrator on Transport for New South Wales' Digital Systems Program.
Announcing the contract extension in a statement, NRC said: ‘Network Rail Consulting (NRC) is proud to announce that Transport for NSW has exercised the option to extend our System Integrator contract for their Digital Systems Program for another twelve months.
The 48-strong System Integrator team plays a key role in defining and delivering the Program and leading collaboration with key partners to ensure the new technology is properly integrated into the Sydney Trains network.
The NSW Government awarded the first phase of the System Integrator contract to NRC in December 2018. We have now agreed the second phase of the contract, which extends NRC’s work with Digital Systems until the end of the Preliminary Design Phase in December 2020.
Together with our partners Acmena, The Go-Ahead Group and Ineco, we’ve brought a unique combination of Australian, Spanish and UK expertise, as well as the latest digital railway technology. Our partners’ experience and knowledge has been invaluable at such an early and important stage of the Program, and that will no doubt continue as we enter the design phase.
Thank you to everyone involved from Transport for NSW and NRC. We look forward to strengthening our collaborative relationship and delivering the program in the year ahead.’
Acmena is delighted to have the opportunity contribute our unique combination of expertise and experience to this landmark project and look forward to continuing the successful collaboration with our program partners over the next 12 months.
