Acmena is delighted to announce the appointment of human factors (HF) specialists, Inga Dambuza and Julia Hobbley.
Working out of the Sydney office as a Senior Consultant, Inga joins us from South Africa where she provided human factors support for various rail organisations, including the national Railway Safety Regulator and Transnet Freight Rail.
Specialising in human-centred design and research, Inga has experience in the application of digital modelling techniques in addition to human-machine interface design practices. Inga will be providing HF expertise to both our NSW and interstate clients.
Julia comes to us from the UK, where she was previously the lead human factors specialist for UK-based airline easyJet before joining the Railway Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) as a HF lead.
Working out of the Brisbane offices, Julia offers experience in human-centred design in addition to risk and safety management. Appointed as a consultant, Julia will be joining the Cross River Rail team, where she will be providing HF support for the Tunnels, Stations and Design package.
“I am delighted to see new talent with international experience join the team,” said Acmena Business Development Manager and NSW State Manager, Nicolas Teulier. “At Acmena, we firmly believe that diversity not only drives innovation, but is central to our ability to offer a unique combination of expertise and experience to our clients’ projects.
“With their diverse range of knowledge, perspectives and experience in the application of human factors best practice, the addition of both Julia and Inga to the team will enhance our capability to understand and deliver human-centred solutions that bring value to our clients and benefit the end-user. I am looking forward to working with them.”
