Congratulations to Yassin Said on his promotion to senior consultant.

Since joining the company in October 2022, Yassin has been providing systems and safety assurance and systems engineering support for the $5.4b Cross River Rail project.

Part of the team working on the Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) package, Yassin has been responsible for developing and managing safety cases and risk assessments for various project assets including stations, track and rail corridors.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at Acmena,” said Yassin. “Being given the opportunity to work on a big project like Cross River Rail has allowed me to develop my capabilities and further my career.

“It’s pretty exciting to be given the responsibility of creating safety cases and risk assessments on one of Brisbane’s most important projects. Getting to work with a great bunch of people is an added bonus.”

“Yassin has been a valuable asset to the Cross River Rail team,” said Acmena General Manager, Mike Bruce. “I am looking forward to seeing him take on additional responsibilities and duties as a Senior Consultant and continue to apply the learning and experience he gained from the RISSB Horizons program he attended last year.
